Oliver Spencer is a men’s fashion brand specialising in casual and contemporary clothing.

Oliver Spencer History

Oliver Spencer is a British menswear brand founded in London in 2002. The founder, Oliver Spencer, initially had a booth at the world-famous Portobello Market in west London where he sold vintage men’s clothing. His first label, Favourbrook, launched in 1993 with a store on Jermyn Street in London. Oliver Spencer, describing himself as a self-taught tailor and shopkeeper, spent the next decade honing his technical skills and developing a deep understanding of the business and his customers.

In 2002, he started his eponymous label, Oliver Spencer, recognizing a gap in the market for a brand that combined the craft of tailoring without its traditional rigidity. The brand quickly gained supporters and fans, leading to an account at Liberty London. Today, Oliver Spencer is stocked in over 100 stores worldwide and has five stand-alone shops in London.

The brand places a strong emphasis on ethical practices and environmentally friendly processes. The design process starts with selecting the finest textiles from the best mills in Europe. All garments are made in either the UK or Portugal.
